We passed by this Ice Cream Shop at Mall of Asia and could not resist to try it out. Got lured in by the huge pictures of mouthwatering ice cream. We ordered the Sundae above. We didn’t regret it. We ordered more. Dipping everything into the gooey yumminess of the chocolate syrup. What did we do next?

We just couldn’t get enough of it. We ordered more of each one.

You gotta go there and try for yourself.

One of the yummiest magazines in the country Appetite Mag has brought back the most delicious event of the year at Shangri-La Plaza in partnership with Mastercard. It’s a gastronomic delight from October 14 to November 13 2011 featuring dishes from all over the world by different restaurants all for the surprisingly low price of 1000 and below.

To kickoff this festival, a celebration last October 13 was held at the Atrium where bloggers, local media and all food crazed fanatics joined together to indulge our senses. Mouth watering meals welcomed our sight from all parts of the area.

Include are samplers of different kinds of cheeses, sandwich flavors and wine that will excite you. Asian dishes abound some.

There were slices of thin crusts of uniquely flavored pizza sprinkled with more cheese than you ever want at Green Tomato.

Care to go Greek? Cyma has different branches here and one in your favorite Boracay too.

The sweetest smiles too from the people behind the food.

It was an appetite inducing event and I was glad I got to experience the Festival. It was awesome. Can’t wait for next year.

We went out too early one Boracay day to look for Jonah’s Restaurant in Station One. It was High Tide the time we went. We were the first one to arrive, in fact they were just lounging around when we got there. From all the raves I read on the internet, I expected more of the place but I guess it’s part of the island charm.. I ordered the Avocado Mango shake below.

Did it live up to it’s expectation? Yes, for the shake I chose it did. It was creamy, not too sweet and definitely a must try. My daughter can’t get enough of it. However my husband did choose Choco Vanilla which was a little too weird tasting for me.

Verdict: Compared to the other fruit shakes I tried on the Island. This was definitely the best but I guess it depends on what you order too.  8)

Are you a pizza lover? Good news for those near the South. Domino’s Pizza has opened another branch in SM Center Las Pinas. People just can’t get enough of.

There was a blessing and ribbon cutting. The branch is situated across the SM Hypermarket which is probably one of the reasons why people are queueing like crazy. That and the Buy 1 Take 1 Promo they have for the opening day ( Which they also have every Tuesday till the end of December)

Another reason is the warm smile from the staff. From the Cashier to the servers. The bloggers were gladly assisted by Issa, one of the marketing heads for Domino’s.

Did you know that Domino’s was founded in the 1960′s and the 2nd largest pizza chain in the U.S? Well you gotta believe it or you just gotta taste it.

Above are Cheese Mania and Extravaganza. Cheesy, not too salty but definitely yummy. Don’t you just just love it when you don’t get too overwhelmed with that salty taste of a pizza slice from way too much cheese? Well If you haven’t tasted Domino’s as yet. Give it a try.

My favorite is the one above, the Margherita Pizza, simply because I love Basil and I thought one on one slice wasn’t enough ha ha. It has the richest mozzarella cheese, the freshest diced tomatoes. It was all just scrumptious. Pizza overload. The bloggers enjoyed learning about Domino’s, gorging on pizza slices and good conversations. Thanks for the Invite Spanky and Issa. 8)

I’m in quite a rush but I’ll make a quick post. I’m a chocolate addict as you can see. I love the feeling chocolate gives when it melts in your mouth. Good chocolates are made of these.

Above is a plate of Pecan chocolate cakes at Hyatt Hotel.

Mmmm…Yeah…Chocolate much?

Fridays has an ongoing promo where you can get a free pasta dish if you use their Facebook app to fill out a survey on what pasta best describes you. Kind of cool right? I have been a Fridays fan for years now and I thought it would just be apt to make their deep fried, deliciously good pasta, buffalo wings and salad the first food post I’ll make (or at least try ha ha) to make for this site.

Me and my friend Mae headed to Fridays after an exhausting day of shoe shopping. She did all the shopping by the way. I forgot the prices for these are shots from a few months ago but I’ll do better next time. If you haven’t been to Fridays of course the buffalo wings and those yummy dips are a must try.

I ordered the Tomato Caprese with Broccolini pasta. In fact I could eat broccoli stir fried in oyster sauce for days.  You should try this pasta if you’re looking for that not too heavy pasta dish with the delicious touch of olive oil, the freshest cherry tomatoes. Caprese is a salad in the style of Capri which includes mozarella and basil. So you get a mixture of flavors playing in your tongue. Below is the Shanghai Chicken salad which I couldn’t really eat much because I pigged out already on the two above. But hey it’s still made up of the freshest, crispiest leafy green veggies and soft juicy chicken bits.

Anyhow for the promo just go to Fridays.com.ph just at the bottom Get your Fridays Coupon now. You get a free voucher for the pasta that best describes you if you share it to 6 of your friends as long as you purchase an entre’e

A delicious journey
